Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance a selection factor, a transparent belt having a plurality of rows of stripe grooves is used. CONSTITUTION:Under the flow control electromagnetic vibration plate 2 loctaed beneath the grain-feed hopper 1 and the air jet nozzle line 14, a transparent belt 4 having plural rows of stripe grooves 3 is installed and pulled by the belt pulleys 5, 6. Over and under the running belt 7, the light sources 9, 12 and the light receiving element lines 10, 13 are installed. The vibration plate 2 supplies differently colored mixed grain on the transparent belt 4 which is moving slowly. Light from the sources 9, 12 is reflected from the slowly moving miexd grain in the grooves 3 and the reflected light is received by the light reciever lines 10, 13. Due to selective ability of the light receiver elements 10, 13, the air jet nozzle element 14 selectively works to permit different color grains to be sorted out and blown into the receiver box 18 with good selection efficiency.
