Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent short accidents by arcs among the contacts of a switching relay, by closing an auxiliary winding circuit by means of a delay relay each time after the switching relay alters the connection of a stator winding circuit.
CONSTITUTION: When a rotation direction instruction switch 4 opens, a switching realy 3 and a delay relay 6 do not operate, line voltage is applied to a series circuit of winding M, a condenser 2 and winding A through contacts 3a∼3b and a contact 6a and a motor is positively revolved. When the rotation direction instruction switch 4 is closed, the switching realy 3 and the delay relay 6 operate, the contacts 3a-3b are first changed over to contacts 3a-3c, arcs between the contacts 3a-3b are perfectly extinguished, the contact 6a of the delay relay 6 opens while a contact 6b closes, line voltage is applied to a series circuit of the winding A, the condenser 2 and the winding M and the motor is reversed.
