Abstract

PURPOSE: To promote the improvement on the burning property of a liquid fuel burner and the reduction in combustion noises, by providing a combustion plate in an evaporation cylinder and providing a fitting plate which is located in front of the combustion plate and has its side edge bent to define a flame hole.
CONSTITUTION: A motor 7 is housed in a cylinder 3 having a suction port 2 at the rear end of a burner casing 1 to rotate turbo fans 11 between stationary blades 10 through a shaft 8. The evaporation cylinder 9 made of material of high thermal conductivity is provided with a partition plate 13 at the discharge side of the fans 11. The front end of the evaporation cylinder 9 is supported by that of a cylinder 6 in the face of the interior of a combustion cylinder 5. A heater 12 is embedded in the rear end of the evaporation cylinder 9. A cone 20, a revolving-away plate 21 and stirring blades 22 are attached to the front end of the shaft 8. A fuel oil feed pipe 23 is opened over the cone 20. Primary air is supplied through the central hole 17 of the partition plate 13. Secondary air is supplied through the peripheral hole 18 of the plate 13. The secondary air is passed through a hole 39 of the evaporation cylinder 9 and a passage 38 and ejected from a central secondary air port 34. The combustion plate 26 made of laminated porous sheets is placed around the secondary air port 34 and held by a fitting plate 28, whose side edge around an opening 27 is bent so that the flame hole is defined.
