Abstract
PURPOSE: To know promptly and accurately the concentration of dissolved ozone by decomposing the ozone in the solution so that the quantity of the dissolved oxygen in the solution is measured before and after the decomposing operations.
CONSTITUTION: The concentration of oxygen (DO1) in a solution is measured by a dissolved oxygen meter. Then, a decomposing agent such as activated charcoal is added, followed by agitation to decompose the dissolved ozone. Then, the concentration of oxygen (DO2) is measured again so that the concentration of the dissolved ozone is determined by the value of DO2-DO1.
