Abstract
PURPOSE: To collect solar light with high efficiency in the absence of tracking by combining the collecting part of the composite paraboloids of revolution of the specified shape and the photo detecting part of a thin flat plate and so installing the device that the photo detecting part faces the east.
CONSTITUTION: The collecting part 2 of the composite paraboloids of revolution in which the height Ze of the boundary part of the paraboloids of revolution is determined according to the opening radius R of the collecting part 2, the maximum height Z0 thereof, the focal length of two sets of paraboloids, etc. is formed and is combined with the photo detecting part of a thin flat plate, whereby the collecting device is constituted. If this collecting device is so installed that the photo detecting part 1 faces the east, the mean collection rate differences of the solar light of each month throughout the year are less and the rate of collection becomes 60% or more. This constitution lets the scattered solar light be collected as well and is designed to collect the solar light with high efficiency without tracking the sun.
