Abstract

PURPOSE: To make checking of the state of the film in the case easy by holding the film for X-rays in the film case for X-rays between electric contact points and reading the change in the current flowing between the electric contact points with a display device.
CONSTITUTION: The electric contact points 3, 13 for sandwiching a film 1 for X- rays are held connected to the two respectively independent electric contact points 4, 5 which are electrically insulated from an X-ray film case 2. The electric resistance between the two electric contact points 3, 13 in the case 2 may be measured by connecting one of the electic contact points 4, 5 to the + pole 8 of a DC power source and other to the - pole 9 through an ammeter. This enables whether the film 1 in the case 2 is used or unused or whether the case inside is empty or loaded with two films to be readily checked.
