PURPOSE:To decrease a signal-to-noise ratio in AM reception by making the final stage of an intermediate-frequency circuit independent for AM-FM exclusive use, in an AM-FM radio receiver which uses ceramics at the initial stage of the intermediate-frequency circuit. CONSTITUTION:A FM intermediate-frequency signal is inputted to input terminal 1, and an AM intermediate-frequency signal to input terminal 2; a power supply connected to a FM high-frequency circuit is led to terminal 3, and that connected to an AM high-frequency circuit is to terminal 4, so that when AM-FM alternation switches S1 and S2 are placed on FM sides, the FM intermediate-frequency signal will be detected by FM detection circuit 5 by way of terminal 1, transistors Q1 and Q3, and transformer T2 before being outputted. With switches S1 and S2 on AM sides, the AM intermediate-frequency signal from terminal 2 is applied to bases of transistors Q3 and Q4 by way of transistor Q1, but transistor Q3 is OFF owing to switch S1, so that no influence of the FM intermediate frequency will be exerted.
