Abstract
PURPOSE: A mothproof material that is produced by impregnating a base with a solidified product from a molten mixture of a substance that is solid a room temperature and a volatile mothproof agent, thus regulating the volatilization speed of the mothproof agent to show high mothproof performance for a long time and being used in safe-keeping and cloth-storing furnitures.
CONSTITUTION: A substance that is solid at room temperature, such as solid paraffin, dimethyl terephthalate, strearic acid, urea, etc., and at least one of volatile mothproof agent selected from subliming agents as naphthalene, p-dichlorobenzene or comphor and vaporlizable mothproof agents as comphor oil, isosafrole or safrole are mixed and liquefied by heating up to 40W50°C and a base as wood, or cardboard is impregnated with the mixture. They are cooled and solidified by means of compression or so to produce said mothproof material.
