Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the corrosion of the portions in contact with Ti-made parts by providing the sacrificial anode of Fe-Mn, Fe-Co base alloys to a part of the copper-alloy-made part in the sea water guide pipe device of a high temperature deaerated sea water treating apparatus, letting this act as a cathode and letting the specific voltage be held.
CONSTITUTION: Fresh water and salt water are produced through utilization of heat exchange in the heat transfer pipes 4 used in a high temperature deaerated sea water treating apparatus by a multistage flush method. At this time, the heat transfer pipe 4 are made of Ti or Ti alloy and the tube sheet 5 of the end part is made of Cu or Cu alloy. Here, the Ti alloy parts 4 become cathode and the Cu alloy part 5 becomes anode, and the galvanic corrosion in sea water causes the Cu-alloy-made tube sheet 5 to corrode. To prevent this, the sacrificial anode 22 made of Fe-Mn of Mn; 3 to 30% or Fe-Co of Co; 3 to 90% is installed to a water chamber 24 and with the Cu- made part and heat transfer pipes both as cathode, sea water treatment is done so that the potential thereof becomes -0.5 to -0.65V based on calomel electrode, whereby the corrosion of the Cu-made part 5 is prevented.
