Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform fitting with high accuracy through a simple construction, by engaging a guide member of an inserting jig in a hole of a table and minutely moving the table to position a piece and inserting the piece into another piece along a chamfered part. CONSTITUTION:The chamfered tip of an arbor 11 is caused to face a chambered inlet part 3 of a hole 2 of a piece by an inserting jig 14. The jig 14 is moved down so that the largest-diameter parts of guide pins 18 are fitted in holes 9 to position the jig. The largest-diameter parts are then moved into major-diameter part of the holes 9 so that the necks of the guide pins 18 are located in the smallest-diameter parts of the holes 9. As a result, a table 5 can be minutely moved in the horizontal direction. The chamfered tip of the arbor 11 is engaged in the chamfered inlet part 3 of the hole 2. The arbor 11 is guided into the hole 2 of the piece 1 while the table 5 and the piece 1 are minutely moved together in the horizontal direction. The arbor 11 is thus fitted in the hole 2.
