Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable accurate flow measurement, independently of the greatness of flow without the friction loss of the rotating part, by supporting the wing wheel rotationably with the float, in the wing wheel type gas flow meter.
CONSTITUTION: The cylindrical vessel 4 of fluid use open for the upper surface is placed at the center of the cylindrical pipe 1 providing the flow inlet 2 at the lower part and the flow-out outlet 3 at the upper part. The wing wheel 6 located according to the gas path 5 is supported rotational-freely with the float 7 floating on the liquid surface in the cylindrical vessel 4 for liquid. The steel ball 8 is fitted at the bottom of the float 7 and the magnet 8 is located at the position opposed to the steel ball 8. Thus, the float 7 can always be positioned almost at the center.
