Abstract

PURPOSE: To mass-product cover pieces efficiently at low cost by subjecting wide and narrow strips and a double-faced adhesive tape to a burning and cutting treatment for providing them with many U-shaped cut-off lines, tearing off the outside portion, and cutting up into pieces.
CONSTITUTION: A tape member 4 consisting of a narrow thermoplastic synthetic resin strip 5, double-faced adhesive tape 2, and parting paper 3 is contacted onto the one side of the lower face of a wide thermoplastic synthetic resin strip 5.
