Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent isolation and damage of an impermeable wall or the like by providing a device for draining pressurized water by connecting a water conduit to a subterranean water conduit buried in a dam and retaining balance between the subterranean water pressure in the dam and water pressure in a storage reservoir.
CONSTITUTION: A water conduit 2 projected to a storage reservoir side is connected to a subterranean water porous conduit 1 buried in a soil dam 6. A downward valve seat and porous box 4 are connected to the end of the conduit 2. A spherical float is contained in the box 4. When the water level a in the storage reservoir becomes lower than the subterranean water level b of the dam 6 so that the storage water pressure becomes lower than the subterranean water pressure, the float in the box 4 is depressed downwardly from the valve seat with the result that the subterranean water is exhausted through the conduit 2 and the box 4 into the storage reservoit to thereby balance the water level between the reservoir and the subterranean water. On the contrary, when the water level a in the reservoir becomes higher than the water level b of the subterranean water so that the reservoir water pressure becomes higher than the subterranean water pressure, the float in the box 4 closes the downward valve seat to thereby prevent the water from moving from the reservoir side to the dam.
