Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a number of parts and attain light weight by retaining a plurality of shafts with one bracket.
CONSTITUTION: The side wall b1 of a cylinder head b is provided with a bracket 5 for retaining a cam shaft 1 and a locker arm shaft 2. The side wall b1 is forming the mounting bosses 6, 6', the protuberance of which is somewhat smaller than the boss 4 locating close to the bottom of the shaft holes 14, 15, allowing the bracket 5 to secure to the bosses 6, 6' with the bolts 7, 7'. The bracket 5 is made of a plate composing of the first coupler 51 which is formed from bending about 1/4 of circumference of the boss 4 in L shape from the side thereof along the side surface to the end surface thereof, the lugs 52, 52' which are made of extending respective right and left ends thereof to the mounting bosses 6, 6', and the second coupler 53 which is formed by bending more than one end of the lug 52 in L shape allowing the point thereof to face on the shaft hole 15 which is positioned at the depressed location.
