Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a rotary engine, which comprises two work chambers separated from each other and respectively having a freely rotatable cylindrical rotor, wherein suction and compression of work gas is accomplished in one of the above two work chambers and explosion and exhaust is accomplished in the other chamber, whereby it is enabled to facilitate manufacturing of the rotary engine and also to make the structure of rotary engine strong.
CONSTITUTION: Work chambers A, B having different capacities and separated from each other by a partition wall 4 are communicated with each other through a connecting port (h). In these work chambers A and B, there are provided respectively freely rotatable cylindrical rotors R1, R2. Work gas introduced into work chamber A having a larger capacity and compressed therein is exploded in another work chamber B having a smaller capacity and then discharged therefrom to the outside. By thus constituting a rotary engine by use of cylindrical rotors R1, R2, manufacturing of rotary engine can be greatly facilitated.
