Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the construction suited for high speed copying by providing plural stationary light sources, condensing the luminous fluxes thereof to the same spot as the same plane of the original plane, placing a scanning mirror in their optical path perpendicularly to the original plane and moving the same, and moving the lens in the same direction and at the same speed.

CONSTITUTION: Plural stationary light sources 3 are so provided as to form optical paths at a fixed angle to an orignal platen 1 and condense their light at the same point on the same plane as the original plane 2. A scanning mirror reciprocates parallel to the original plane 2 from nearly the center of the original platen 1 up to the alternate-long-and-two-short-dashes-line position. The light out from the stationary light sources 3 is reflected by the scanning mirror 4 and radiates the oridinal plane 2, the reflected light whereof forms the original image on the photoreceptor 6 by the lens 5. Since the lens 5 moves in the same direction at the same speed as the scanning mirror 4, the foregoing imaging becomes always in the same position. The moving distance of the scanning mirror is about half the origianl face length and therefore the moving speed of the same mirror 4 becomes about half the speed of the light scanning the scanning mirror. Hence, the moving mass of the scanning mirror, etc. becomes small and the construction suited for high speed copying may be provided.
