Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a differential amplifier circuit which features the simplified circuit constitution and the reduced occupied area in the semiconductor chip. CONSTITUTION:The differential amplifier circuit contains the 1st, 2nd and 3rd reverse NPN-type transistors Q1, Q2 and Q5 each which possess the multi-collectors. Either one of multi-collectors C11, C21 and C51 is connected to the base, and transistor Q1 and Q2 are used as the differential input transistors. Then collectors C12 and C22 of transistors Q1 and Q2 plus the base of Q5 are connected to PNP-type transistor Q3 and Q4 which are to be the load current. And the differential output is drawn out from collector C52 of transistor Q5.
