Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic sheet recorder which can reproduce a high-quality picture image by reducing greatly the guard band noise caused by the track shift at the reproduction time of the slow-motion or still pictures.
CONSTITUTION: Rotary magnetic sheet 1 is attached onto shaft 3 which is driven by motor 2, and then magnetic head 4 is provided in opposition to sheet 1. Then spiral magnetic track 5 is provided on sheet 1, and one frame of the video signals is recorded on track 5 with every turn of sheet 1. Head 4 is attached the idle end of lever 7 one end of which is mounted onto axle 6 and thus biased by spring 8 toward inside of sheet 1. At the same time, axle 6 is related to shaft 3 via gear mechanism 9. The reproduction time, head 4 is synchronized with the turn of sheet 1 to flollow track 5. And the reproduction is carried out via monitor 12.
