Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare bag-like fried bean curd for flavored boiled rice wrapped up with fried bean curd (inarizushi) continuously, by inflating a plurality of fried bean curd sheets placed in the thickness direction with air needles each having a hole at the tip passed through the sheets, and by cutting the sheets after withdrawal of the needles.
CONSTITUTION: The cutting box 3 packed with a number of fried bean curd sheets in the thickness direction is transferred by the conveyors 1 and 2, and the air needles 5 each having a hole at the tip are passed through the curd sheets to inflate the sheets with compressed air. The needles 5 are then withdrawn by the cylinder 6 and lowered by the table. The box 3 is then moved by the conveyor 2 to cut the curd sheets by the rotary blades 11 into bag-like fried bean curd. The press plate 12 presses the sheets by the cylinder in cutting. Square or triangle curd sheets can be obtained by changing the bottom shape of the box 3. The device is operated continuously and automatically.
