Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the effective heating through the minimized temperature difference between the highest and the lowest layers by forcibly convecting air between the ceiling layer and the floor layer with the aid of a combustion type warm air heater in the slim form having the increased length in vertical direction.
CONSTITUTION: A body casing 21 is provided with an air inlet 22 at its upper portion and an air outlet 23 at its lower portion. An alumina layer 25 is applied on the inner wall of a heat exchanger 24 serving as an exhaust pipe too, an evaporating dish 26 is provided at the lower portion of the heat exchanger 24, and a burner 27 is provided therebelow to be connected with a gas circuit 28. Furthermore, convection fan 30 is provided at the lower portion of the body casing 21 and an outlet is located confronting to the air outlet 23. An air supply pipe 32 of an air supply and exhaust unit 31 is connected with an air supply port 29 via an air supply hose 34 and an exhaust pipe 33 is connected with an exhaust port provided at the upper end of the heat exchanger 24. Thus arranged warm air heater I is placed on the floor of a room R in such a way that its upper end is located near to the ceiling, so the heater serves as a kind of air circulator.
