Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure the safety for the load circuit by discontinuing the conduction to each load and at the same time carrying out the overload display and the like in case the load level is higher than the reference level to be detected to the steady load current. CONSTITUTION:Current transformer 26 coiled round conduction line l1 detects the steady load current of the output conduction power line when the timer is operating, and the output is rectified through diode bridge 27 and then smoothed via capacitor 28 to be applied to the reverse input terminal of comparator 34. Comparator 34 divides power voltage VDD via resistances 30 and 31 to obtain the reference potential, and the reference level to be detected is decided to the steady load current. And in case the load level is higher than the reference level, the conduction is discontinued for each load along with the overload display and the like given on display element 3. Thus the overcurrent detection level is decided to cut off the over load instantaneously, securing the safety of the load circuit.
