Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform surfficient flat effect at average water flow, by performing calculation without causing delay to the flow at overflood, through measuring the hold time of the water level in dam and automatically selecting the number of steps of flow smoothness from the result.
CONSTITUTION: The relation between the water level hold time ΔT and the flow smoothing number of steps n is stored in the ΔT-n memory circuit 23 from the hydraulics in advance, and the present water level hold time ΔT calculated at the water level hold time calculation circuit 3 is detected at the comparison circuit 21 whether it corresponds to either band of the ΔT table stored in the circuit 23. Further, the number of steps n corresponding to ΔT is automatically selected at the smoothing constant selection circuit 22 and the smoothing of the flow is made by using the selected n. As a result, if the ΔT at average water flow is longer, the effect by external disturbance is removed by increasing n, and if the flow is increased, the delay in the flow calculation can be reduced by decreasing n.
