Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure a sample in a short time through simple operation without dangerous handling by using N-naphtyl-N'-diethyl ethylene diamine and o-phthalic aldehyde for the colorimetric measurement of urea and its derivative. CONSTITUTION:To a sample containing urea or its derivative, N-(1-naphtyl)-N'- diethl ethylene diamine and o-phtalic aldehyde are added to react on it (normally in 1N hydrochloric acid, at 37 deg.C and for fifteen minutes). After reaction, absorbance (465nm) is measured for colorimetric measurement.
