EXAMPLE: ( 5Z, 13E )-( 9α, 11α, 15S )-9,11-Iminomethylene-15-hydroxyprosta-5, 13-dienoic acid.
USE: Medicine having blood platelet coaqulating and thromboxane A2 biosynthesis inhibiting activities, and effective to the prevention and remedy of inflammation, cerebral apoplexy, cardiac infarction, thrombosis, etc.
PROCESS: Ammonium salt III of the compound is prepared by the ammonolysis of a compound II (R5 is alkylsulfonyl or arylsulfonyl).
