Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure the uniform bias light illumination with no reduction of the photographing light by providing the dichroic mirror in front of the pickup unit with incident of the photographing light secured in front of the dichroic mirror and then putting in the bias light from the other side.
CONSTITUTION: Prism 3 is provided in front of pickup surface 2 of the pickup unit to hold dichroic mirror 4. Mirror 4 is located with an inclination of a fixed angle, 45° preferably, to the optical axis of photographing lens 1 of mirror 4. At the same time, mirror 4 features such characteristics: the photographing light of the prescribed wavelength width can be transmitted through, and other wavelength beams such as the light ineffective for photographing are reflected. Then the bias light is given from light source 5 which emits the light including the beams of other wavelengths from other side of mirror 4. Accordingly, the image of the subject is formed on surface 2 along with incidence of the bias light given. As a result, the uniform bias light illumination is secured with no reduction of the photographing light.
