Abstract

PURPOSE: To make volume production of metal-made grating bodies of high durability inexpensively without performing welding by forming both end parts of middle stems to cylindrical form, forming the portions thereof to be fitted to the through- holes of crosspieces to thin-wall form and engaging the outward protruding flights produced by pressing the fitted middle stems into the through-holes.
CONSTITUTION: Cylindrical portions are formed by pressing to both end parts of middle stems 3, 3.... Thin-wall portions are formed to the cylindrical portions of the middle stems, in the position to be fitted to the through-holes of crosspieces.
