Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain magnetic powder having excellent heat resistance with excellent magnetic characteristics being held by putting one or more of Cu, Ni and Co into Fe powder.
CONSTITUTION: A bivalent Fe salt solution containing one or more of Cu salt, Ni slat and Co salt is reacted with a solution of alkali hydroxide metal, and suspension of ferrous hydroxide containing one or more Cu, Ni and Co is obtained. Then, goethite powder is prepared by blowing a gas containing oxide into said suspension, said goethite powder is reduced by a hydrogen reduction method, and Fe alloy powder containing one or more of Cu, Ni and Co can be obtained.
