Abstract

PURPOSE: To make effective use of copying paper by giving priruity to a paper feeding table holding the copying paper more or most among those which hold paper of the same format, and stopping the machine when there is no more paper of the format requested.
CONSTITUTION: The copying paper 16 on the feeding table 1 which is to be used frist, is sent to the photo-sensitive drum 5 through a calling roller 6-1, a parting roller 7-1, a send-off roller 8-1, etc. A copying paper on which an electrostatic image on the photo-sensitive drum 5 is duplicated, is sent to the exhaust unit 14. When the copying paper 16 on the feeding table 1 is used up, the feeding table holding the copying paper most among those which hold paper of the same format, is selected out for continued paper feeding. The copying machine is stopped when there is no more copying paper of the format requested.
