Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption and to display by a bar-graph by arranging the display elements in the form of a matrix and by lighting a fixed number of elements according to the input signal. CONSTITUTION:An input signal is AD-converted and fed to the decoders 2, 3, outputs of which are provided to the fixed lines of X and Y sides of the matrix display panel composed of LEDs, the switching elements at the intersections of X and Y lines are driven to light all LEDs of number less than the intersection LED number. As a result, a bar-graph can be displayed according to the input signal level.
