Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the resolution of the position of a sound source in a device for searching the position of the sound source by containing a sound generating unit and a sound receiver for sensing the sound wave irradiated from the sounding unit in a sealed container filled with medium having sound velocity different from that in normal temperature and pressure air. CONSTITUTION:A noise source 1, a microphone 2 for sampling on a plane 3 at predetermined interval, and a standard microphone 4 are contained in a selaed container 7 filled with medium having sound velocity different from that in normal temperature and pressure air. An electric signal from the microphone 2 and a reference signal from a standard microphone 4 are applied to an analyzer 5 to be multiplied and to be recorded as hologram information. A computer 6 connected to the analyzer 5 analyzes to calculate the sound interference from the microphones 2 and 4 to thereby obtain the sound intensity distribution. Thus, the sound source disposed at 8.5cm from the sound source can be analyzed.
