Abstract
PURPOSE: The title tonic useful in promoting plant growth and preventing plant blights, comprising powder of a natural radioactive rane element mineral.
CONSTITUTION: A natural radioactive rane element mineral is pulverized and directly or in a mixture with a fertilizer applied to soil as a plant tonic. Ferqusonite, allanite, samarskite, xenotime, zircon, and thorogummite may be cited as the mineral. The tonic is effective against plant blight, e.g. damping-off of rice seedlings, blast, and bacterial soft rot of Chinese cabbages, and promotes the plant growth.
