Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the refractory working of a low temperature liquefied gas storage tank by mounting a reinforcing member for the roof portion of the tank on the back surface of a refractory material mounting surface. CONSTITUTION:A refractory material 3 is extended over the upper end of the inner surface concrete wall 1 of a low temperature liquefied gas storage tank to the peripheral wall extended from the inner surface of the concrete wall and to the inside of the roof continued thereto, where the reinforcing member 6 of the roof plate 5 is mounted on the upper surface of the roof, that is, on the back surface of the roof plate but not the refractory material working side. The member 6 is mounted on the inside of the roof palte 5 in the vinicity of the top of the crown portion not worked with the refractory material. Thus, the refractory working becomes ready. Since excessive extension such as reinforcing member is not provided, no refractory material is excessively necessary to thereby work a preferable finish.
