Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a danger of occurring buckling at a low temperature tank with an inner tank fixed by providing large corrugates having a plurality of elevational small corrugates in the circumferential direction between inner and outer tanks to thereby readily provide operating conditions. CONSTITUTION:An inner tank 6 is fixed via anchors 8, 9 onto the side wall 1A in the vicinity of the bottom corner of an outer tank 1 and bottom 2, and large corrugates 7 having a number of elevational small corrugates 10 are provided in the inner peripheral direction between the inner tank 6 and the outer tank 1. Thus, the circumferential heat strain can be absorbed by the small corrugates 10, and the elevational heat strain is absorbed by the large corrugates. Accordingly, the inner tank 6 does not irregularly creep to thereby clarify the shape conditions. Thus, it can readily determined the operating conditions and prevent a danger of buckling the tank.
