Abstract

PURPOSE: To alternate recording and reproduction with a circuit simplified, and also to remove an influence of external noises by using a recording amplifier output transformer as a reproducting step-up transformer and also by providing a switching circuit.
CONSTITUTION: Reproducing step-up transformers 8 and 9 are used as output transformers for recording amplifier 4 to provide recording and reproduction by heads 3 and 4. Further, switching circuits 12, 13 and 15 are changed over by turns to alternate the supply and cutting-off of power supply +B to recording amplifier 14 at the same time as an alternation between recording and reproduction, and balancing transmission lines are formed between rotary transformers 5 and 6, and transformers 8 and 9 in reproduction. Consequently, the circuit can be simplified and external noises can also be removed.
