Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the handlings of laver and reed screens for laver cultivation, by the use of a laver peeling machine furnished with a laver transfer device and a reed screen transfer device at the end of the conveyor for transporting the reed screen covered with laver, and stacking predetermined numbers of separated laver sheets and screens in respective stackers.
CONSTITUTION: Laver is peeled off from the reed screen by a peeling device 2, and transferred through the belts 20 and 21, and a guide 22, dropped on a belt 26 with a dropper 23, and stacked. When a predetermined number of laver sheets are stacked, it is clamped with a frame 29, and taken out. The separated reed screen is transferred with a folding belt 8, hooked with a catch 11 of a drum 9, and transferred through the belts 13 and 30, and the guide 31. The transferred screen is dropped in a stacker 18. When the predetermined number of screens are stacked, they are taken out with a conveyor rollers 19.
