Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate a collapse of the active material during a transportation of the plate and a necessity of drying and simplify the process, as well as equalize a density of the active material, by generating a gel layer on front and rear side of the active material, and temporarily solidifying the front and rear face of the active material. CONSTITUTION:After filling an active material 2 into a base unit 1, constructed likely in one unit by lead lattice unit and synthetic resin, the plate is shaped into a convex pattern. Surface of this plate, shaped into the convex pattern, is processed a surface treatment by the method of spray jetting or immersion with, for instance, water glass, silica sol, alumina sol, etc. of sol-state material.
