Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a good performance comb type filter using CCD without complex calculator and gain adjustment circuit by very simple structure.
CONSTITUTION: Input delay signal 11 is converted to charges by the input areas 31, 32 of the same structure, transferred through the channels 12, 13, delayed to the desired degree by the channel 14 of double or greater width, devided exactly into two, and enters the channels 15, 16. Input to the terminal 20 is converted to charges 34 by the same signal as for the terminal 11, passed through the channel 18, synthesized 23 with the charges in the channel 16, and amplified 25. Since the input areas 32, 34 are in the same phase, the output 27 is given as the sum of the same signal with the specified time difference. Thus, this provides a simple-structure filter having a good pass-stop characteristic. The signal to the terminal 19, after inversion 21, converted to charges to enter the channel 17, synthesized with charges in the channel 15, and amplified 24.
