Abstract
PURPOSE: To heighten the sensitivity of the gauge by making the sectional shape of the inlet and outlet formed in the lower inner case into a trapezoid and by making the water jet hit impellers of the runner even in a very little flow.
CONSTITUTION: The sectional shape of the inlet 17 and outlet 18 formed in the lower inner case 11 is made a trapezoid, the base of which is made perpendicular to the axial direction of the runner 14. Also the left side 17b of trapezoid-shaped inlet is made run in the tangential direction of the inside wall of the lower inner case, the left side 17b and the upper side 17c of the inlet are made gradually shorter toward the inside of lower inner case. In this way, water is injected enough to hit itself to the vane in this part even in a very little flow since the lower part of inlet is wider, the injection speed of water in the upper part is made less. As a result, a vector of the jet water acts obliquely downward, the water moves to the outlet after it hits the vane.
