Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily exchange type belts, by encasing a type belt and an ink roller in a cassette.
CONSTITUTION: A type belt 2 and an ink roller 6 are encased in a cassette 7. The cassette 7 is produced in a box-shaped form that has three wall-surfaces except a side-wall where a straight portion of the type belt 2 is located, and fitted to an upper cover 7a in a mounting-and-demounting-free shape, and a pulley 3 and rollers 4a, 4b are born to the base and the upper cover 7a. The ink roller 6 is supported through a shaft 11 by means of bearing arms 9a, 9c installed to the up-and-down surfaces of the cassette in a shaft 10, and continually energized toward the type belt 2 by means of a coil spring 13.
