Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve the improvement in optical performance by specifically arraying telecentric lenses.

CONSTITUTION: A lens-barrel 101 applied with antireflection on its inside surface is arrayed with a lens 40 of an outside diameter equal to the inside diameter thereof and being image side telecentric and an object side telecentric lens 41, mutually parallel in one or more array at an equal spacing. As a result of this, the surface on the image side of the lens 40 and the surface of the object side of the lens 41 act as if to form an air lens, causing the main beam 42 from an object 50 to emit through the mid-point of the second face exit height of the lens 40 of beams 43, 44, become parallel to the optical axis and go toward the lens 41. Also, the beam 45 lower than the beam 44 transmits through the first face of the lens 40 and arrives at the lens- barrel 101, where it is attenuated, thus the light intensity distribution on the projecting surface 55 becomes of Gaussion form and the lens-barrel 101 acts as an iris extending in the optical axis direction. At the same time, the effective object visual fields in the respective constituting lens systems overlap with each other in multiplicity owing to the configuration of one or more arrays, thus the distributions in the configuration direction with respect to the quantities of light integrated in the direction rectangular to the array direction become uniform.
