CONSTITUTION:Crystal oscillator bar 5 features a small-size and rectangular thickness shear oscillator formed slender in the X axis direction with set close to 35 deg., receiving the bevel processing at the both ends in the X axis direction. And angle theta formed by the oscillation main face and the bevel face is set within the range of lB/lX=0.15-0.28 and lE/lM=0.8-1.4 with beta=3-11 deg. each, where lX is the length of the oscillator bar in the X axis direction, lM is the length of the oscillation main face part, lB is the length of the beval face part, and lE is the lengeh of the oscillation electrode respectively. Thus the crystal impedance can be reduced.
