Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a high acidic aluminum phosphate useful for catalyst, hardening agent and heat resisting agent etc., by controlling opaque semisolid material obtained by the heat treatment of mixture of Al containing substance and phosphoric acid substance at 10W32% of water containing ratio and crystallizing.
CONSTITUTION: Al containing substance (alumina, aluminum hydroxide etc.) and phosphoric acid substance (phosphoric acid, ammonium phosphate etc.) are blended in mol ratio of P2O5/Al2O3 in the extent of 1W6, preferably 2W5 and are heated and dehydrated at 90W450°C by the primary heat treatment and the water content ratio is made at 10W32%, preferably 15W25%. Next, the above substance is dehydrated and crystallized by heating at 300W450°C. Thus obtained aluminum phosphate is shown clear and accurate specific diffraction peak at the point 2θ= 11.2° by X-rays diffraction and is possessed a high acidic degree (0.3W20meq/g).
