Abstract

PURPOSE: To place small-diameter pipes in the upright portion of a fuel passage and to introduce bleed air into the upper and lower ends of the upright portion of a fuel passage through another air passage from the upper course side of a venturi portion.
CONSTITUTION: A number of small-diameter pipes 11 are placed in passage direction in the upright portion 15 of a fuel passage 4. Air passages 10 and 7 are connected to the lower end and the lower portion respectively of the upright portion 15. When suction flow rate varies, the suction pipe negative pressure proportionate thereto is generated in a nozzle 3 to suck the fuel in the upright portion 15. At the same time, the air measured by air bleeders 8 and 9 is supplied to the upper and lower portions of the upright portion 15 so that fuel is lifted and pushed up through the clearances between the inside and outside of the small diameter pipes 11 and jetted as air-liquid mixture current through the nozzle 3. Fuel is atomized while air liquid fuel mixture current passes through the pipes 11 and further atomized by the air jetted in nozzle direction through the air bleeder 8.
