Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the overheating of the cylinder and piston in the well furnace and maintain its pouring function smooth at all times by separately providing a melting furnace and well furnace and providing the pouring cylinder and piston in the well furnace.
CONSTITUTION: The molten metal 4 in a melting furnace A is sent into the well pot b of a well furnace B through a feed pipe 5. The well furnace B is placed on and supported by a support base 11 within the machine frame 10 provided with a door 9. As the support table 11 rises, a pouring cylinder 14 and piston 15 are inserted into the well port b. The cylinder 14 is connected to a die C through a cylinder part 14a a pouring pipe 14b and connection pipe 16. Since this mechanism improves workability and permits taking out of the well part B from the door 9 in the state wherein the support base has lowered, the maintenance and inspection of the cylinder 14 and piston 15 become simple.
