Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the sensitivity for the reception and transmission of ultrasonic waves for the probes suitable for the ultrasonic diagnosis unit and the non-destructive inspection utilizing ultrasonic waves and to make easy for the handling, by providing air gap between another electrode of the piezoelectric oscillator and the holder.
CONSTITUTION: The electrodes 2 and 3 are placed on the both ends 1b, 1c of the piezoelectric element 1 of a short cylindrical shape, leads 9 and 10 are suitable drawn out, to form the piezoelectric element 4. Further, epoxy resin mixing W is coated on the electrode 2 to form the matching layer 7 processed in the thickness of λ/4(where; λ is wave length).
