Abstract

PURPOSE: To make possible accurate aperture control free from hunting by providing a means of giving a blind zone to the input and output characteristics of a pair of comparators so as to put the comparators in a pause state.
CONSTITUTION: When the subject light changes to higher luminance than correct exposure, the resistance value of a photo detector RX becomes smaller and the potential of the output terminal A of a bridge circuit becomes higher than the potential at the point P, as a result of which the output of the first comparator CP1 inverts to 1 and is so outputted as to drive an aperture mechanism to the close side. Conversely, when it changes to lower luminance, the potential of the output terminal A becomes lower than the potential at the point Q and inverts the output of a comparator CP2 to 1 and then so outputs as to drive the aperture mechanism to the open side. The connection of a resistance R between the point P and point Q causes the first, second comparators CP1, CP2 to be so inputted as to have the input and output characteristics which will not be inverted in the range f centering at the correct exposure and therefore no hunting occurs.
