Abstract

PURPOSE: To make fading time substantially constant by performing fading through utilization of part of an automatic exposure control unit in a cine camera.
CONSTITUTION: When a select switch SW2 is set at fade-in, SW3 goes ON to let an aperture mechanism be maintained in a closed state. SW3 is turned OFF by shutter release operation and the aperture mechanism is driven to the open side. Upon lapse of a fixed time after the release operation, a trigger switch SW4 goes ON, causing a servo meter 7 to be so braked as to become the speed corresponding to the sensitivity of a film. In the state where it nearly coincides with correct exposure aperture value, the braking is released by a time constant circuit 12. As a result of this, the fade-out of the high-luminance object existing in the subject may be smoothly accomplished as well.
