Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the card featuring such structure in that the card is not impaired even with use of long period of years and with no misselection caused, by providing the blank part at the area toward the right of the lower side of the card plus the lock notch part at the lower side each.
CONSTITUTION: The blank part having the height of the tooth of at least one pitch of the tooth row to be coded at the area toward the right of the lower side of the card. This part functions to protect the tooth row and also forms the part to be pushed up by lock bar 3 as shown in Fig.(C). As shown in Fig.(B), card 4A to be selected is shifted left by one pitch. Accordingly, at least 1-pitch equivalent length is required to secure the correspondence for the blank part to bar 3. Furthermore, lock notch part 4b is provided near the lower right side of the card so that the part engages at the lower side of the card from the upper side to projection 26 provided at the right side when the card is stored into the card selector and thus to block the shift of the card into the upper direction.
