Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the position of a tail gate with a simple sturcture by telescopically providing the tail gate at an elevator provided at a supporting post and providing an actuator for elevationally moving the elevator and a stopper for stopping the tail gate at its intermediate position.

CONSTITUTION: When a main switch and an upward push-button switch are closed in the state that a tail gate 5 is disposed at its lowermost position L, a hydraulic pump is operated to extend a telescopic cylinder 13 at its rod. Since a movable block 14 is thus moved forwardly, an elevator 6 is raised through a control cable 16 to thereby raise the tail gate 5. When a downward push-button switch is closed, hydraulic oil in the cylinder 13 is escaped to an oil reservoir to thereby lower the tail gate 5. When a push-button for stopping the tail gate at its intermediate posistion is closed, the tail gate 5 is raised. When the tail gate 5 thus reaches its intermediate position M, a toggle switch 35 at the base end is operated to open an intermediate stop circuit to thereby stop the tail gate at its intermediate position.
