Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a vehicle from automatically moving in advance by connecting an inclination sensor for closing its contact at higher than set inclined angle and a high limit switch to the input side of an OR gate, the output side of the OR gate and a low limit switch to the input side of an AND gate, and an indicator lamp to the output side of the AND gate. CONSTITUTION:Since a sensor 1 is opened when a vehicle is parked on a slope having a higher than set gradient, a parking indicator lamp 4 is not energized unless larger pulling force is applied to a parking brake lever to thereby close low and high limit switches 3 and 2. Since the sensor 1 is closed when the gradient becomes lower than set value, the parking indicator lamp 4 is energized if low pulling force is applied to the parking brake lever to thereby close the low limit switch 3. Thus, the vehicle can be prevent from automatically moving in advance by providing the lamp which does not turn ON unless the pulling force responsive to the gradient is applied to the brake lever.
